History of concrete substitutions, plant hilst

Alternative methods for posts' fixing have been known for a long time, but HILST is truly revolutionary solution.

 History of concrete substitutions

Technology for compounds to substitute concrete had been developed by Soviet scientists in 1960s. Its most common application was instant erection of wooden bridges (of materials on hand) across small rivers. Naturally a cost of such a system was unreasonably high in those days, so it had been forgotten about back then.

However in 1980s modified system found its usage in Canada for fitting telephone posts and posts for overhead electric lines in hard-to-reach places and ever-frost environment. It had become equally useful for fixing demolished posts and support structures due to natural disasters. Nevertheless the cost remained high and the technology had not come to mass production stage.

Only in 21st century joint efforts of Canadian and German scientists as well as nanotechnologies' advance permitted to create high performance mass product with affordable price. About 80% of fences' fitting works in Canada are performed with concrete substitutes. American market value is about 60%, and about 50% of fences are fitted with the help of concrete substitutes in Europe.

 HILST concrete substitute. Present time.

Recent developments by German engineers as well as body of knowledge of different fields allowed getting a compound (concrete substitute) featuring low density in combination with multi-fold surplus in strength comparing to other foamed concretes, and even better than concrete itself in some characteristics.

Finally the enhanced technology got back to Russia. Moreover, the production had been placed in Russian Federation - the city of Ulyanovsk.  We think of it as symbolic and patriotic. We are confident that after you had tried our product, you would not have ever resorted to archaic concrete works.

Yours faithfully,
HILST Team
